Traffic has improved along Agora Road after the city government completed the removal and concreting of the areas previously occupied by the center island which was constructed almost 2 decades ago.
As shown in the photos, the marks where the island used to occupy are wide enough to accommodate large trucks and sometimes, ambulant vendors and even idle vehicles used to park inside the island. The work somehow decongested the road leading to/from Market City. But still, they need to control the reckless trespassing of trisikads which may cause some serious accidents.
The photos were taken on a Sunday so traffic was expected to be light. But still, even during weekdays, you can now experience moving traffic in the area.
