Carlo Lastimosa finished with 22 points, five rebounds and three assists as he continues to show his worth leading PC Gilmore Wizards beat Blackwater Elite, 92-75, at the San Andres Gym in the PBA’s D-League.

The win pushed the Wizards to solo second place in Group A with a 4-2 record, clinching them a quarterfinals berth.

The Wizards went on an early run, scoring the first eight points of the game but Blackwater battled back to tie the score at 39-all at the half.

Lastimosa then teamed up with Allan Mangahas in the third as PC Gilmore slowly created some distance from Blackwater. The Cagayan de Oro-born Lastimosa then made two spectacular offensive plays, first receiving an alley hoop pass from Mangahas then scored again on a turnaround teardrop shot that brought cheers from the crowd.

The Wizards then stretched their lead to 22, 89-67, late in the fourth period.
