Ororama, the city’s homegrown chain of department store, and Mang Inasal, one of the fastest growing grilled chicken restaurants in the country are set to open their branches at Market City at the redeveloped Agora Complex.
Considering that Market City is currently operated by MegaFarm Inc., the establishment of Ororama is not a surprise. Both Ororama ang Mang Inasal are located at the eastern section of the complex sandwiching SM SaveMore’s main entrance. Ororama though occupy a much larger area covering the entire southeast corner.
Other businesses have also occupied other stalls inside Market City such as LBC, Western Union, Chooks-to-Go, among others. Lechon Manok ni Sr. Pedro is also opening a branch soon. Although, I’ve been at SaveMore, I haven’t gone inside Market City’s other stalls though. Construction of the bus and jeepney terminal is also in full swing. The perimeter around the complex is temporarily used for the terminal. Luckily for the occupants of the eastern section of Market City, this is where the buses drop-off their passengers.
