Liceo de Cagayan University continues her tradition of producing quality theater productions with the staging of William Shakespeare’s quintessential love story, Romeo & Juliet this coming February 24-26, 2011 at the Rodelsa Hall with matinee shows at 2PM and gala performances at 7PM.

This special presentation is one of the highlights of the 56th Founding Anniversary of the university and is directed by one of the most loved ace directors of Cagayan de Oro, Ms. Anita Q. Santos.

In time for the valentine season, Liceo de Cagayan’s Romeo & Juliet promises to strike a romantic chord among its viewers as it retells this classic tale to enable the younger generation to experience and appreciate the beauty and magic of Shakespeare’s work.

This immortal love story has truly enthralled audiences all over the world for the past years and has inspired countless artists to stage musicals, ballet presentations and even film versions of this classic were made. This time around, local audiences will finally get a treat as the young talented thespians of the institution bring this masterpiece to life.

Romeo & Juliet is offered for FREE to all Liceo U students currently enrolled this semester and to the present roster of faculty and staff.
