The Xavier University – Center for Industrial Technology formally changes its name to XAVIER UNIVERSITY – CENTER FOR INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGIES (XU-CIT) beginning academic year 2011-2012. In connection with this, the Center also wishes to adopt a new logo that would symbolize its Vision and Mission.
Calling for entries to the LOGO MAKING COMPETITION
Inviting ALL students, alumni, faculty, and staff of Xavier University to join the logo-making contest to select the new logo of the Center. Guidelines for the contest are as follows:
- The logo shall be drawn/printed on a white short-sized Bond paper (8.5”x11”)
- There should be an accompanying explanation of the logo, written in English, of not more than 100 words
- The logo should attempt to incorporate the Vision and Mission of the Center
- The logo should be original and should not have similarities with other existing logos
- The logo colors shall primarily be orange, silver gray, and black
Entries should be personally delivered or mailed on or before January 31, 2011 to:

The designer of the winning entry shall receive a cash prize of FIVE THOUSAND PESOS (P5,000.00) and a plaque of recognition. All other submissions shall be given certificates of participation signed by the Director and the University President. Entries, upon submission, become property of the Xavier University – Center for Integrated Technologies.
