THE annual fiesta celebration of Jesus Nazareno Parish is set to be held on Sunday, January 9. It will kick off with the Diana Y Hornada around the Parish at 4 a.m.
Msgr. Rey Manuel Monsanto, HP, JCD, Jesus Nazareno parish priest, said that since January 9 is a Sunday, the mass schedules of the parish will be the usual Sunday schedule.
Highlighting the 53rd fiesta celebration of Jesus Nazareno Parish is the procession of the Black Nazarene at 3 p.m.
Msgr. Monsanto said the procession would start in front of Lily Kho Building in Kolambog, Lapasan and winds through the inside streets of Lapasan, including the Agora Market and on to other streets that are the boundaries of the parish.
From Barangay Lapasan, the procession would pass through Baconga St., San Juan I Access Road, Sto. Niño St., Inter-Sitio Access St., Gaabucayan St., Julio Pacana St., C.M. Recto Avenue, Corrales Avenue, J. Luna St., Osmeña St., back to C.M. Recto Avenue then to Nazareno Church.
Those who want to join the procession are encouraged to bring candles.
