This news is more than a month old but I posted some construction activities before on some rooftop works at Lourdes College (LC) Main Campus. Well, the rooftop construction has been completed and is now called Beaterio Multi-Purpose Hall. Last September 15, 2010, all the school’s new facilities were blessed. The ceremony was done with Rev. Fr. Gil Escalante, SSJV, RVM Sisters and the rest of the LC community.
The ceremony started with the first ribbon cutting in the elevator at the ground floor. This was done by the LC President S. Ma. Adelaida C. Huiso, RVM and the Regional Superior S. Ma. Teresita Arado, RVM.
Everyone then went up to the Beaterio Multi-Purpose Hall by means of the elevator for the second ribbon cutting done by the Vice-President for Academic Affairs Dr. Judith C. Chavez and Ms. Kagay-an 2010 Ms. Virnajenn Bacus (LC 1st BSHRM student).
From the rooftop, the community went down to the new Science Laboratories for the 3rd ribbon cutting done by the Vice-President for Administration Ms. Myrna M. Fantonalgo and the Laboratory Coordinator Engr. Delia Pahang.
The new facilities truly support the quest for quality Catholic Education and serve as evidences to the school’s thrust. Congratulations!
