The city government is mulling to construct a state-of-the-art sports facility in Barangay Lumbia, this city.
In a special report during the City Council’s regular session on Tuesday, Councilor Ian Mark Nacaya said the Council has already passed an ordinance requesting for allocation for the sports facility, which is set to be constructed within a 10-hectare land in Lumbia.
He said the sports facility will be built like a dome to cater to big conventions with complete line of sports facilities such as pools, tennis court, track and field, basketball courts and other amenities.
Nacaya said the ordinance only needs the signature of Mayor Vicente Y. Emano.
Once it is signed, he said the City Council will identify the lot for the immediate construction of the sports facility.
I just hope the city will build something like this below.
If it will be in Lumbia, the 10-hectare lot should be somewhere near Koresco, Xavier Estates Phase 4 or the intersection of the South Diversion Road leading to Pelaez Bridge.
