SOPHIA Jewellery opened on Saturday its 20th store in Mindanao at the 2nd Level, East Concourse of Limketkai Mall in Cagayan de Oro, which coincided with the re-launching of its store at the 3rd Floor lobby of Gaisano City Mall.
Cecile Belciña, Sophia Jewellery general manager, said the Zamboanga-based company is also re-launching the brand with a new logo and color scheme in all its branches in Cagayan de Oro, Pagadian, Dipolog, Bongao in Tawi-Tawi, Iligan and Zamboanga.
Belciña said its branch in SM City Cagayan de Oro would undergo a facelift to show off the new logo and color.
“Hopefully we can renovate the SM branch within the year. The company is also looking at expanding in other cities in Mindanao, particularly Davao,” she said.
Sophia Jewellery, a wholly-owned Filipino company, has been in existence for 15 years. It sells jewelry made of diamonds, pearls, gold and white gold in Italian, Saudi, Malaysian and Chinese styles.
“For jewelry from ears to toes, we have that at Sophia Jewellery. Most people buy their jewelry from us for investment while others buy them for enhancement, especially women. Minsan kasi, ang mga babae, hindi pwedeng lumabas ng bahay
kapag walang alahas,” Belciña said.
Aside from the newly-opened Limketkai branch, Sophia Jewellery has other outlets in SM City, Gaisano City Mall and at Osmeña St.
