Bellevue's B Hotel in Alabang

THE BELLEVUE Group of Hotels, Inc., which formally opened a three-star business hotel in Alabang last week is keen on building hotels outside Manila specifically in Bohol, El Nido in Palawan, and Cagayan de Oro within the next three years.

In a news article from BusinessWorld, General Manager John Patrick Y. Chan said the “B Hotel” caters to “cost-conscious travelers”. We had a vision to expand the Bellevue brand and create a more budget-friendly economy hotel”.

The 11-storey hotel in Alabang has a total of 152 rooms including eight penthouse units, a café, a bar, a lobby shop, and basement parking.

B Hotel, which took around P500 million to build, is a direct investment of the Chan family, which is on the lookout for other sites to expand the Bellevue brand, one of which will be in Cagayan de Oro. “The overall vision is to expand the brand as a national chain,” John Patrick Chan added.

Now, is this what Mayor Vicente Emano is telling the media about a Manila-based businessman putting up a posh hotel in the city, to which he gave no clues on who is this person?
