FREQUENT flyers of Cebu Pacific (CEB) are given a choice of discounted fares from Davao to Cagayan de Oro for only P499 for its “Go Lite” promo.
Aside from this route, passengers can also avail of the same promo for flights from Manila to Cauayan, Laoag, Legazpi, Naga, San Jose, Tuguegarao and vice versa from August 10 to 11, 2010 or until seats last, good for travel from October 1 to November 30, 2010.
Candice Iyog, CEB vice president for marketing and distribution, said these routes are serviced by the airline’s young aircraft fleet composed of 21 Airbus A320 and eight ATR 72-500.
“CEB continues with its mission to give opportunities for every Juan to fly.
Those who are used to riding the bus, or even ferry, for hours to get to their destinations can appreciate the ease and convenience of traveling by air. We are also highlighting our low fares to Malaysia, Vietnam and Brunei destinations in this seat sale. Aside from increasing flights to Kota Kinabalu, we are also the only carrier to fly direct from Manila,” Iyog said.
Other routes available for the P499 seat sale include Manila to Bacolod, Catarman, Calbayog, Cebu, Iloilo and Kalibo while those traveling from Manila to Tacloban, Tagbilaran and Roxas can avail of P599 ‘Go Lite’ seats.
Based on Civil Aeronautics Board data, CEB overtook Philippine Airline’s passenger numbers in the first quarter of 2010, making it the largest airline in the Philippines. CEB is also set to launch its direct Manila-Brunei flights on August 21, 2010 and Manila-Beijing flights on September 5, 2010. (PR)
