NEWLY-OPENED Marigold Hotel is offering big discounts on room rates this month in celebration with the feast of St. Augustine on the 28th.

Capt. Rolf Olsson, president of Marigold Hotel, said aside from the big discounts, guests would be given complimentary breakfast and welcome drinks for the hotel’s superior, deluxe and family rooms, inclusive of government taxes and service charge.

Marigold Hotel, located at the corner of Don Apolinar Velez and Luna Sts., is offering discounted rates at only P1,900 for family room, P1,500 for Deluxe room and P1,300 for superior room.

Also available at the hotel are dormitory rooms at P400 per day for a minimum of three persons per room.

Olsson said Marigold Hotel boasts of air-conditioned rooms, hot and cold shower, cabled TV, NDD/ID telephone, refrigerators, mini bar, laundry and pressing services and room service.

The P8-million hotel also has a fitness center for in-house guests, the Baileya Health and Spa Center and Blooms Coffee Shop. It also offers free Wi-Fi accessibility to guests at the hotel lobby and restaurant.

“We have 37 rooms, dormitory and suites which can accommodate 270 guests that are fully-furnished and equipped with modern amenities for the guests’ convenience. Our convenient location gives guests easy access to major tourist attractions in Cagayan de Oro,” Olsson said.

Aside from the affordable room rates, he said they also give big discounts at the hotel’s Petal Restaurant where guests can dine in while enjoying live bands and videoke.

He added they also accept other services such as weddings, seminars, meetings, birthdays, anniversaries, school parties, product launchings and cocktail parties.
