The Manila Symphony Orchestra, one of the oldest orchestras in Asia, is set to perform at Rodelsa Hall with renowned Kagayanon pianist Rudolf Pelaez Golez on August 10, 2010.

The MSO through the years since it was founded in 1926, has hosted world artists Montserrat Caballé, Yehudi Menuhin, Igor Oistrakh, Eugene Istomin, Fou Ts’ong, Barry Tuckwell, Paul Badura-Skoda and Rony Rogoff, as well as conductors Andre Kostelanetz, Arthur Fiedler, Mendi Rodan, Robert Feist, Gareth Nair and Helen Quach.

The MSO will have Arturo Molina as conductor. The concert is in celebration of the Birth Centennary of Elsa P. Pelaez, one of the founders of Liceo de Cagayan University.
