Part 19. New construction projects or first posted on my blog. First is the 3-storey commercial building right at the heart of Divisoria along RN Abejuela Street beside Cham’s and Dunkin Donuts. The existing 2-storey structure will be demolished to give way to a new modern facility.
As shown, prior tenants include Netopia and Benjie S. Manuel, a known fashion designer in the city, a PCSO Lotto Outlet, some clinics in the 2nd floor, and other small shops. All of them have transferred elsewhere. I don’t know if they have reserved spaces for the new building but I expect the spaces to be fully rented in due time because of the building’s proximity to schools, banks, and offices.
Below is the almost done Boxer’s Dormitory, a project of the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental. It is located along Corrales Avenue corner Mabulay St. near Cagayan de Oro Water District. Accordingly, the objective is to produce future olympic boxers and future Manny Pacquiao’s.
Shown below is the current demolition of an old building along Osmeña Street just across the Coca-Cola Bottling Plant. Rumor is that a multi-storey (4 to 5 floors) building, possibly another hotel will rise on the same spot.
By the way, in case you didn’t notice, Chowking Divisoria has been closed for the past weeks due to renovation. I think they’re expanding the fastfood outlet to accommodate more customers.
Lastly, another 2-storey commercial building is rising along Capt. Vicente Roa St. corner Ebarle St. as shown below.
I’ve more on my list…I’ll post them soon. 🙂
