The largest Philippine Flag made of pastel was displayed recently at SM City in Cagayan de Oro City during the Independence Day celebration.

The 6 feet x 12 feet pastel flag shown above consisted of 2,052 pieces of pastel buns made from 32 kilos of flour, 510 eggs, 43 kilos of milk and 2 kilos of butter.

Considered as the biggest Philippine flag made from pastel, the symbolic flag was unveiled Saturday at the entrance of SM City Cagayan de Oro, which was made possible through the efforts of Vjandep Pastel, owners Ret. Col. Virgilio and Mrs. Eleanor Jose.
