Cagayan de Oro City Vice Mayor Vicente “Dongkoy” Y. Emano beat 1st Dist. Rep. Rolando “Klarex” A. Uy, by the slimmest of margin shown above in the closest mayoralty race in the city in years. The final tally had Emano winning by 2,130 votes over Uy. Emano was proclaimed yesterday afternoon. He will succeed Constantino Jaraula who will retire from politics on June 30, 2010.
