Rustan Coffee Corporation is now hiring BARISTAS for its first Starbucks store in Cagayan de Oro City. The job ad was dated May 5, 2010 posted online (link). This is barely a month after the company posted its job hiring for the Store Manager position. So Starbucks is definitely coming.
If you do not know what a “barista” is, taken from wikipedia – A barista (from the Italian for “bartender”) is a person, usually a coffee-house employee, who prepares and serves espresso-based coffee drinks. Based on the ad, the minimum requirement for barista is a bachelor’s degree. The full ad is seen below.
