Pueblo de Oro Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Guillermo D. Luchangco garnered another feather in his cap as a recipient of the 2010 Communication Excellence in Organizations (CEO) Awards by the Philippine chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators/Philippines (IABC).
This prestigious Award has been conferred on some of the most outstanding CEOs, presidents and top-level executives in the country for their having successfully harnessed communication strategies and tools to achieve business, environment or social development goals.
Since starting the ICCP Group 20 years ago, Mr. Luchangco has transformed it from a boutique investment house to a diversified conglomerate composed of 18 companies involved in property development and management and financial services. The ICCP Group has become a leader in industrial and residential developments including the Pueblo de Oro Township, its flagship project in Cagayan de Oro, which has expanded to Cebu and now Pampanga and Batangas. Other projects of ICCP include the Light Industry and Science Parks I, II, II in Laguna and Batangas, Hermosa Ecozone Industrial Park in Bataan and the World Trade Center Metro Manila.
Luchangco and the other awardees were presented with the award in ceremonies held in Pasig City last March 23, 2010.
