Are we going to say bye-bye now to P.Joe’s Diner? Cagayan de Oro businessman Elpie Paras’ western-style restaurant has been temporary closed lately due to major renovation. But just recently, a large tarpaulin was installed at the site with the new name “Bourbon St. Bistro“.
Still, based on research, Bourbon St. Bistro is said to serve American-style dish. It is named after the famous and historic dining and nightlife strip in New Orleans Louisiana. Coincidentally, Cagayan de Oro’s version is located in Rosario Strip, Limketkai Center, a major nightlife haven.
I noticed that the tarp has a background of the logo of the newly-crowned Superbowl Winner New Orleans Saints as shown above…perhaps, the owners will be using a different logo for the city’s operations. Iloilo has a Bourbon Street, but has a different logo.
Now, what will happen to the iconic airplane?
By the way, in case you’ll ask for the menu, here is the official website of Iloilo’s Bourbon Street: http://www.bourbonstreet.com.ph/
