The Cagayan de Oro City Council recently approved the establishment of IF Koresco’s proposal for an Internet Gaming Station at Pabillore Building along Vamenta Boulevard in Carmen.
The nod will pave the way for the 4th facility of its kind to operate such business in the city. Similar e-games stations are currently operating at the Ground Floor of Tagbuan Grill along Capt. Vicente Roa Street, at Rosario Arcade at Limketkai Complex and at Hotel Koresco.
Before it was approved, some councilors were concerned about the station being near educational institutions like COC-Phinma and Golden Heritage Polytechnic College.
Accordingly, the e-games station will still require a P500 show money before one can enter.
I am amused why this is still being debated. Don’t they know that one can easily play online casino in practically all internet cafés in the city? even without the P500 show money? All you need is a just credit card (card number—VISA Mastercard) in order to “log in” or join in many online casino websites available….in fact, you can even download a software…and play at home…
