The qualifying weekend begins with a mini-cheer camp on Saturday, November 14, from 8 to 12 p.m. The camp is open to all cheerleading enthusiasts and fans and will cover basic spotting, stunting, cheers and motions, pyramids and others.

The Mindanao Qualifiers will take place on Sunday, November 15, at the Xavier University Gymnasium.

The NCC 2008-2009 season saw over 61 teams from around the country participate in the regional qualifying competitions. This season, the National Cheerleading Championship offers six divisions: all-girls high school and college, coed high school and college, junior and partner stunts.

It is the NCC’s ultimate dream is to select, train, and support a Philippine cheerleading squad and win in all international competitions.
