CAGAYAN de Oro’s premiere contemporary gospel/pop/alternative band Thoughts and Notions has just been nominated together with other contenders nationwide for the prestigious NU 107’s U-Rock College Band of the Year.

It is considered a tremendous feat given the fact that NU 107 doesn’t have an airing presence in Cagayan de Oro City, let alone a relay or repeater broadcast station.

The band’s manager Jasper Lloyd Tan believed that his band was included in the shortlist of nominees because of the strength of their runaway indie hit Runaway Angel which has been in rotation for many months now in mainstream music stations here in Cagayan de Oro City such as 89.3 Killer Bee and Hot FM.

Listen to the song.

With this new development i.e. the continued appeal of Runaway Angel, Tan is contemplating to conservatively release other tracks in their sophomore album just yet.
