Club South Pacific is a luxury property on the beachfront just 15 minutes away from the “New” International Airport and 35 minutes away from Cagayan de Oro City. The resort features extra large hotel rooms, condominiums (1, 2 or 3 bedroom) and lavish penthouses.
Designed to be the signature residence for Club South Pacific members, the resort offers 5-star accommodation, menu of 6 star-services, and complete range of leisure facilities.
Club South Pacific will feature a five star resort-hotel with 120 luxury suites, a 350-room luxury condominium-hotel (condotel) and perhaps the much-awaited icing on the cake – a marina.
Construction of this mega complex will be in two phases.
Phase one, which is estimated to be completed in the year 2011, encompasses 120 luxury suites with generous dimensions of 40 square meters, 60 square meters and 80 square meters as well as facilities to suit just about every leisure seeker’s fancy – spa, scuba diving services (Aqua Sports facility), fishing facilities, gym, swimming pools, restaurant, coffee shop and conference/function halls.
The Clubhouse has a very unique design that offers the most extraordinary experience for those who will stay at Club South Pacific. It has a remarkable size of 30 meters by 80 meters 2-storey building. The edifice design depicts the most dominating and friendly marine animal which is the DOLPHIN. The clubhouse is covered with transluscent glass facing the panoramic view that goes beyond tropical sunset and ocean vistas. The second floor houses a luxury spa facility, conference and function rooms designed for relaxation as well as business. Also on offer is a unique swimming pool and floating cottages.
Phase two, on the other hand, covers 350 oversized hotel rooms and condominium residences that include one, two and three bedroom condotels as well as lavish penthouses. Additional amenities such as conference rooms, function halls, business centers and music rooms will be included under phase two. And of course, the spotlight will be on the marina – which will cater to people who love to cruise or just spend a lazy day on a small boat and try to catch fish.
Latest update is that a huge billboard has already been installed at the site.
Originally, the project was set to be established in El Salvador town. However, after thorough evaluation of the site, the proponents decided to transfer the project in Gitagum which is more pristine and has natural white beaches. El Salvador is an industrial town and most of the industries have outfalls along the bay and this might have an issue for their future customers. Below is an old rendering of the proposal.
The old rendering looks elegant but hey, any design will do. The fact that this is a huge investment that would benefit not just the town of Gitagum, the province of Misamis Oriental but also the entire Northern Mindanao Region.
