Once again the Misamis Oriental-1 Rural Electric Service Cooperative bags nine awards from the National Electrification Administration (NEA) Lumens Awards held recently in Davao City.
The awards that the electric coop achieved would strengthen its member-consumers that the power provider is reliable and competent in delivering electric power.
Ms. Edna Diango, member services department manager, said that Engr. Julie B. Real is again given the honor as outstanding general manager, adding that this award has been received by its general manager since the 2003 until this year.
Besides that, the electric coop was able to maintain its systems loss at single digit said Diango.
She then attributed the power coop’s success to the culture of the people they are serving and its employees.
Diango claimed that member-consumers are cooperative.
They pay their power bills on time and even report to the management those who violate the pilferage law.
Lastly, the cooperation of its employees by rendering extra services even with out pay has contributed in strengthening its organization to deliver electric power effectively and efficiently to its member-consumers, disclosed Diango.
